"Ottone Astra" Decorative Cachepot

A striking, substantial cachepot with a bold star-shaped form, made of metal in a warm brass finish with a beautiful, living patina. The body is built from deep vertical flutes that run the full height and open out towards the top into a distinctive, multi-armed profile resembling a star or a spreading flower. An elaborate, stepped upper rim and two side handles in the form of stylised, decorative "bolts" give the whole an industrial-decorative, almost art déco character.

The brass surface shimmers with a rich play of colour — from gold and honey to subtle reflections of green, brown, and pink that form a natural, living patina. Light plays beautifully along the edges of the flutes, emphasising the architectural, sculptural structure of the object and building a sense of depth.
