"Ambra Conca" Glass Bowl
A striking wide decorative bowl made of thick, tinted glass in a warm amber-cognac tone. Its low, spreading form is built from rhythmically arranged horizontal rings that give the piece an architectural character and visually widen it. The outer surface is wrapped in a diagonal, spiralling pattern of twisted grooves (a "twist" optic) that refracts light beautifully and brings a dynamic sense of movement around the whole circumference.
The translucent amber glass responds wonderfully to light — in sunlight it glows with a golden, honeyed warmth, while the darker streaks within the grooves build depth and emphasise the three-dimensionality of the twisted texture. The smooth, glossy interior contrasts with the textured outer wall, creating an elegant interplay of surfaces.
This is a versatile decorative object — perfect as a fruit bowl, a table centerpiece, a catch-all container, or a striking standalone ornament. Ideal for retro, art déco, glamour, or warm-accented modern interiors, where its amber colour becomes an expressive focal point. Its warm palette pairs beautifully with wood, brass, and earthy tones.
Handmade, which means slight variations in tone, transparency, and in the flow of the twisted pattern are natural and a mark of each piece's originality.
